Mission Statement for Alumni Council
After their years have passed, alumni still maintain ties to St. Nicholas of Tolentine, and together we can provide opportunities for professional development, networking, volunteering, and friendship building.
St. Nicholas of Tolentine is starting an Alumni Council, which will be made up of alumni volunteers, who are elected for three-year terms. These alumni volunteer to help shape and influence the policies and direction of the Alumni Association. The Council meets a minimum of four times a year; elects the association Officers and determines the policies and programs to be carried out by the Alumni Association. In addition, Council members serve on a number of committees and task forces in order to carry out specific objectives related to planning and implementing alumni programs and services.
Executive Board, the governing body of Council, meets two additional times each year and is responsible for Alumni Association affairs between Council meetings. The Alumni Association and its dedicated Alumni Council volunteers work to provide the best for St. Nicholas of Tolentine and its many constituents. The Alumni Association will be able to offer services due to the effort of great volunteers. Some Council members will be from major companies while others manage their households. All are exceptional examples of St. Nicholas of Tolentine excellence.
The St. Nicholas of Tolentine Alumni Association–a powerful network of members–whose mission is to connect alumni to the School and to each other will provide valued services to members, and support the Parish and School’s mission of faith, teaching, and service.
